We Work With Clients that are Both Big and Small
You may have noticed that for a company with the word SMALL in their name, we have a lot of BIG clients: Switzerland, The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Stanford University and The Canon Group. But you may have also noticed that we have lots and lots of SMALL clients too. SMALL Businesses, Startups and Nonprofits are the heart and soul of The Bureau of SMALL Projects. We love working with Founders and Visionaries. They choose us not because we are a SMALL agency, but because we get BIG results.
Everyone Is An Expert
We don’t use interns or junior designers. Everyone on our team has Fortune 500 and Big Brand experience. Everyone on our team is an expert in their field. We shamelessly teach mission-driven organizations and nonprofits all the “sneaky little tricks that big brands use” so they can put them to use for good using cognitive biases, storytelling, and data to create powerful attractors for customers, clients, donors, volunteers, and partners.
We Have Great Pricing
We have had some of our larger clients comment on how low our pricing is: “Is the comma in the wrong place?”.
We need to attract the very best talent, so our rates are comparable to the agencies and brands that our team members came from. Our pricing is great because we use clearly defined “sprints” instead of billable hours. Our clientele are small to mid-sized businesses, startups and nonprofits, so we need to be mindful of budgets and work efficiently to get the stunning results our clients expect.
Our Deliverables Are Clear Cut
Clear-cut deliverables set clear expectations, reduce misunderstandings, and keep everyone aligned on what success looks like. This makes planning, accountability, and decision-making easier, which saves time, money, and a lot of unnecessary drama. Our job is to make your job easier.
Everything Is Actionable
We don’t just hand you a stack of papers. We turn a strategic vision into something that can be executed upon. We clarify who is responsible for what, by when, and with which resources, reducing ambiguity and stalled momentum. Without clear action items, even the best strategy risks staying theoretical instead of delivering results.
We Work In Sprints with Fixed Pricing
Our clients like to know what the costs are up front, so there are no surprises. Built using the Agile project management methodology, a typical sprint consist of 3 big meetings and 3 phases: 1) A kickoff where the project requirements are discussed 2) The initial exploration where multiple options are presented and 3) A polish pass where the finishing touches are discussed and applied. This means that the only surprise at the end of your project will be how awesome it came out!!!
