A Home For Every Life
Since 1989, Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) has built and remodeled thousands of homes in San Diego. JDR designs and builds custom homes, whole home remodels, additions, outdoor living spaces, kitchens, and other areas of your home that encompass your unique needs and desires.
This project was especially challenging because we had to take content from their previous website that had been built very poorly. The big challenge was scrubbing the content of old shortcodes, bad H1, H2, H3, etc… tags and wildly different formats. All this would be challenging on it’s own but their site had 2000+ pages and Great SEO which would be catastrophic if we lost ranking.
Todd Jackson, the owner, told me that their best guys are put on remodels because anyone can build a kitchen from scratch. Interestingly enough, the same is true in our business. Building a website from scratch is not nearly as difficult as building one that has to accommodate legacy data from different formats CMSs and databases.
