To create a powerful, culturally relevant digital presence that could raise awareness of MusiCares’ disaster-relief programs and connect music professionals affected by the Los Angeles wildfires with financial assistance, healthcare, mental health support, equipment replacement, and long-term recovery resources.
Result
A unified website and campaign platform that clearly communicates MusiCares’ evolving disaster-relief services, strengthens its connection with the music community, and makes critical recovery resources easier for artists and industry professionals to discover and access.
MusiCares helps the humans behind music because music gives so much to the world
MusiCares is the official charitable organization of the Grammys. MusiCares partnered with The Bureau of Small Projects® one year after the LA wildfires, to build a powerful, culturally resonant online presence through a branded website and online campaigns that support the music community as they rebuild, offering financial assistance, preventive health care and wellness resources.
MusiCares was established to provide health and human services to music professionals in times of need, with significant fundraising happening during GRAMMY Week. They partner on major events like the MusiCares Person of the Year gala and use the GRAMMY platform for fundraising and awareness, supporting musicians with financial aid, addiction recovery, and more.
MusiCares’ Evolving Disaster Relief includes: Emergency financial assistance to cover immediate essential needs. Ongoing, substantial assistance for recovery and rebuilding efforts. Access to mental health support, including financial assistance for therapy and support groups. Financial coaching and planning for a sustainable path forward. Equipment, gear and software replacement and free studio time. Community-based health clinics providing free preventive health care
Educational resources to navigate FEMA, insurance claims and additional aid.
