Andrew and Laurel Quady are the founders of Quady Winery. Their path into the wine world began with an exodus from southern California to pursue their dream: a rural way of life making wine.

Out of the more than 4,700 wineries in California, Quady Winery is the only one with a complete focus on sweet and aperitif wines. Their journey started in 1975 with 1,600 cases of Zinfandel Port and by 1980, Quady’s co-founder Andrew Quady discovered an unused patch of the rare Orange Muscat grape varietal – known in Italy as Moscato Fior d’Arancio. Andrew turned these grapes into Essensia, a wine that opened new premium categories in the American wine industry after it was released. This marked the beginning of Quady Winery’s Muscat expertise – where the rich flavors of rare Muscat varietals are celebrated and intensified rather than softened and blended.

The Bureau of Small Projects® is all about what makes our client’s different and better than their competitors and this complete focus on sweet and aperitif wines made the solution obvious.
