If we knew then… The program we wish we had when we were starting out
The BoSP Mentoring Program
When we started, we kept wishing we could apply big-brand marketing horsepower to our new agency. But there was no one to help us, so we had to figure it out through trial-and-error. We tested on ourselves first, and then shared the good stuff with our clients. Gradually we built a team of experts who cover every part of the marketing process: strategy, messaging, advertising, promotion, and analytics.
And now we have “guides” who can share our hard-won experience with you, so you don’t have to crawl up the learning curve like we did.

Here’s how our Mentoring program works…

It ALL starts with Messaging
This is the heart of branding. Explaining – concisely and compellingly – why you’re different and better than your competition is absolutely the foundation of ALL marketing. Let us help you tighten your message.

Pay-per-Click (PPC) Advertising
Before you can engage anyone, you need to bring people to your website and socials. With hundreds of millions of websites out there, nobody is going to stumble upon your website on their own. That’s what Google and Facebook ads are for. They are still the most dominant platforms, and both rely on some version of PPC advertising. Optimizing PPC is all about the data. We’ll review your messaging, creative and delivery to be sure you’re getting the most out of your advertising.

Social Media
Engaging with your community, organically, is crucial to building your brand. We’ve learned some cool tricks to help you attract and maintain attention in a super-crowded market.
We can help you create the right kind of content, and the right kinds of promotion, to build a long-lasting audience for your brand. We have a full team of creators and marketers ready to tell your story.

Data Analytics
Now that you have people coming to your website, you need them to click and engage. Many people think that if they’re not selling anything it’s because their ads aren’t working. More often than not, it’s the website that’s not performing, not the ads.
All analytics are about the data. Understanding which pages people are visiting; how long they’re staying on each page; and where they are losing interest is essential to getting engagement and sales. Did we mention we have experts for that, too?

Conversion Optimization
Google analytics gives you the big picture, but to understand why people are not clicking on buttons or buying product you need to see how they interact with each page. That’s where “heat mapping” comes in. With tools like Crazy Egg and HotJar, you can see what people like on a page, what they don’t, and how far they scroll before leaving. Then it’s like a game. If people like a section, but don’t click, you need a better call to action. If they leave midway on a page, you need to rewrite the text there or find a better picture. If they click but don’t buy, you might need to change the price. When you have good data and know how to read it, it’s usually pretty obvious what you need to make your website perform better.
